The Chicago Karate Institute offers a Core Self-Defense for Women seminar. This seminar is offered in partnership with a sponsoring organization at no charge to the sponsor and participants as a community service.
On October 29, 2025, Mr William Zemlak, one of our founders, as well as Dalal Sensei, conducted a special Self-defense Workshop for Senior Citizens, at Ping Tom Park, Chicago Park District. The Workshop was well attended by 20 participants, some even in wheelchairs. We would like to thank William Sempai and Dalal Sensei for taking the initiative to give back to the community.
