It gives us great pleasure to introduce to you the 2024 JKA USA National team members from our Institute, who will be representing USA at the JKA World Shoto Cup Championships in Japan this year. On March 09, 2024, 84 top seeded JKA athletes from all over the USA assembled together for the National Team selection in New Orleans, Louisiana. 100 Kumite matches, and 138 Kata matches were conducted over a period of 8 hours. Everyone had to go through double elimination, so there were multiple matches that they had to win in order to be selected on the National Team. Here are the results:

Girls 15 yrs old Individual Kata: MAYA RAFALKO.
Girls 15 yrs old Individual Kumite: MAYA RAFALKO.
Girls 16 - 18 yrs old Individual Kata: PRERNA DHAWAN.
Girls 16 - 18 yrs old Individual Kumite - Alternate: PRERNA DHAWAN.
Boys 16 - 18 yrs old Individual Kata - Alternate: TROY ROBINETTE.
Boys 16 - 18 yrs old Individual Kumite: TRISTAN THOMAS.
It is a matter of great pride to have 5 members of a National Team to come from 1 Dojo.
